Subscription and billing
You get started with Tredco without entering a card. Your first quotes are free, and only when you want to keep using the app in full do you subscribe. For Norwegian companies that happens by invoice — not by card — so the threshold is low and access comes right away.
This page explains how the subscription fits together: the trial period, how you subscribe, what the statuses mean, and how you change or cancel. What it costs is kept current on the pricing page.
The trial — your first quotes are free
New companies start on a trial account. You get a number of quotes completely free, with full access to everything else while you try it: Enjoy your first quotes, absolutely free. Along the way the app reminds you how many free quotes you have left.
When the free quotes are used up, things pause with a clear message — All off your free quotes has been used! — and a prompt to subscribe for full access to quotes, templates, clients and the rest. What you have already entered stays put; you lose nothing by waiting. You open it back up by subscribing.
How to subscribe
The subscription sits under settings, in the The company group. Everyone who runs the company sees the status there, but only the owner can change it — the row says so too: Only the owner can change the subscription.
- Open Settings in the app, or ask the assistant to take you there.
- Go to The company and tap Subscription.
- Tap Subscribe. For Norwegian companies this opens a confirmation window — Continue with invoicing — showing which company we invoice.
- Choose whether to Pay monthly or Pay yearly. Yearly is cheaper per month.
- Tap OK, invoice us. The account becomes active at once, and the invoice arrives in the post: No card is required. You will get immediate access.
Check that the company details in the window are right — name, organisation number and address — because that is where the invoice goes. If something is wrong, fix it in Company profile first. If you are registered outside Norway, the subscription goes through an online card payment instead of an invoice; the rest works the same.
What the status means
At the top of the subscription row the status is shown in plain words, so you know where the company stands:
- Trial account — you are in the trial with free quotes left.
- Trial expired — the free quotes are used up; subscribe to continue.
- Invoice requested / By invoice — you chose invoicing; access is open while the invoice is processed.
- Active — the subscription is in order.
Should a card payment fail, the status tells you what to do — for example that the subscription is paused until payment is added — so you know exactly what to fix.
Change or cancel
On the same row is Go to Billing. If you pay by card, it opens the billing portal where you swap cards, change plan or cancel. If you pay by invoice, you are told to contact us at support@tredco.no for billing questions instead — we make the change for you.
To add more people to the team, each extra user beyond the first costs a surcharge; you will find the current prices on the pricing page. Adding people themselves is done in The team, roles and access.
Subscription is one of the rows in Settings. If you are not up and running yet, start with Getting started.
