Your customers
Everyone you send quotes and invoices to lives in the same place — the customer register. Enter a customer once, and Tredco brings up the name, address and company registration number every time you need them later. You never retype the same details for each quote.
Add a customer
Open Customers in the app — or ask the assistant. There you see all your customers, and a search at the top finds the right one by name, email, phone or company registration number.

Here is how you add a new one:
- Tap New customer.
- Choose Company or Private Person at the top — the choice decides which fields you get.
- Fill in what you have: name, Email, Phone and address. For a company you can also add the Company registration number.
- Tap Finish. The customer is saved and ready to pick on a quote.
You do not need everything up front. A name is enough — you fill in the rest when you get it. To change something later, open the customer and tap Change customer.
Company or private person
If the customer is a firm, choose Company. You then get fields for Company name and Company registration number under Company info, and you can look the firm up in Brønnøysund (see below). If the customer is a private person, choose Private Person and fill in the Name under Personal info. The contact fields and the address are the same for both.
You enter the address under Address: Street Address, Postal code, City and Municipality. It travels with quotes and invoices, so it is worth getting right.
Look the company up in Brønnøysund
When you add a new company, you do not have to type it all by hand. Enter the company name or the nine digits of the company registration number in the Company name field, and Tredco searches the Brønnøysund register and suggests matches. Pick the firm, and Tredco fills in the name, registration number, address and contact details from the register — no typing, and no typos in the registration number.
The lookup appears when you create a new company. If you cannot find the firm, or the customer is a private person, you simply enter the fields yourself.
A separate billing address
If the invoice should go to a different address than where the job is, tick Separate billing address and enter the billing address there. Without it, Tredco uses the ordinary address on the invoice. If you do not need it after all, tap Hide.
The customer ties everything together
The customer register is not a list on its own — it is the hub everything else hangs on. When you build a quote, you pick the customer it is for, and the name and address follow into the document. When the quote becomes a job and an invoice, the customer follows there too. And the overview of who owes you money is sorted by customer — so you see what each one has outstanding.
That is why you cannot delete a customer that is attached to one or more quotes. To remove the customer, move the quotes to another customer first; otherwise quotes would be left with no one to point to. Once the customer is free, you delete it with Delete on the customer.
