The team

The team, roles and access

Tredco is built for a crew, not just for the owner. The first user is included in the flat price; each additional user costs 199 kr per month ex. VAT. Everyone works in the same projects — but each person sees and does what their job requires, no more.

Add your crew

Everything about your people lives under Employees in the settings:

Settings → Employees — your crew, with role and status on every person

Adding someone new to the crew:

  1. Open Employees in the app — or just tell the agent, it finds the way.
  2. Tap New employee and fill in name and contact details. You can set a job title and work email at the same time.
  3. Choose a role — the role says what kind of job the person does (see below).
  4. Save. Tredco creates the login and sends the welcome by email or SMS.

Passwords are managed by each person from their own account — they don't live in the app. Inviting, changing roles and enabling or closing access are things only the owner and the office do; each user manages their own profile, notifications and consents.

The role follows the job

Tap Roles at the top of the Employees panel to see what each role can do:

Roles — what Owner, Office, Team lead and Member can do in the company

Owner — you. Always has everything: subscription, rights and deleting the company.

Office — runs the office: invites and manages employees, company settings and the accounting — on top of everything a team lead can do on jobs.

Team lead — runs jobs on site: projects with economy, quotes from draft to sending, the crew's hours and the customers.

Member — the tradesperson on the crew, the default choice: works on projects and quotes, logs own hours, adds photos and notes.

Accountant — internal or external: full accounting with invoicing, payroll and reports, plus insight into projects and quotes.

You choose a role by what the person actually does — not by ticking a list of switches. Every role carries a short description of who it's for, so you get it right the first time.

Who can see and do what

Behind every role sits a checklist of what it can do — send quotes, see project economy, see accounting and reports, and the rest. That checklist is the starting point, and your company can adjust it: decide that everyone with the Team lead role can send quotes, and it applies to all of them.

If one person needs something beyond their role, you make an exception for exactly that person — a little more, or a little less — without touching anyone else. You speak in plain words ("Kari should be able to send quotes", "Jonas shouldn't see project economy"); Tredco translates it into the right access.

The owner signs off

Only the owner changes access. Every change arrives as a short card before anything is written: who it concerns, what they gain and lose, and what was already in place. You confirm — then it applies. The same principle as everywhere in Tredco: the agent proposes, you sign off.
