Read up on what Tredco is, what the app can do for you, and how it all fits together — from quotes on site visits to fully posted books.
The foundation
- What is Tredco?Tredco is the agent for tradespeople — quotes on site, hours, work diary, invoicing and bookkeeping. You approve, the rest keeps itself.
- Getting started with TredcoDownload the app, set up your company and send your first quote. You start on Free, no credit card needed.
- Talk to the assistantThe home screen in Tredco is a conversation. Speak or type in your own words, attach photos, receipts and video clips, pull up the views you use most, and keep your chats in order.
- Documents and email from the assistantAsk the assistant to write a finished document as a PDF — an agreement, a letter, a notice — and send it or a company file by email in the company's name, with replies coming back to you.
- Standing preferencesThe assistant can remember how you like things done, so you don't have to say it again every time. How to save a standing preference — for yourself or for the whole company — and how to withdraw it.
- SettingsOne place for your company — yourself, the company, the defaults for quotes and invoices, and the app. Set it up once, and the rest runs itself.
- NotificationsHear about it when your plan changes, a customer replies to a quote or an invoice arrives — on your phone or by email. How to turn notifications on.
- Subscription and billingHow the Tredco subscription works. You start on Free, choose a package with credits, get invoiced by Tredco Books, and can change or cancel.
Out on the job
- Quotes on site visitsThree seconds of speech in the van becomes a finished quote with the correct VAT — ready to send before you're home, and to follow up until the customer answers.
- Deleting and restoring quotesDelete a quote and it isn't gone for good. It moves under «Deleted» and can be brought back exactly as it was — and the project stays untouched.
- Your customersKeep everyone you work for in one place. Look the company up in Brønnøysund so the address fills itself in, and let the customer tie quotes, invoices and who owes you money together.
- The projectA project gathers quotes, hours, costs and the site log in one place — the job you follow from an accepted quote to finished books.
- Hours, work diary and documentationPhotos, receipts and hours land on the right project by themselves — and the work diary writes itself while you work.
- TemplatesSave a quote line once and reuse it. Templates keep the hourly rate, the wording and the materials ready, so the next quote takes seconds to build.
- Stats«Stats» shows the pulse of your quotes — how many you have, what they are worth together, and how they split across draft, sent, accepted and the rest.
Finances
- Invoicing and bookkeepingInvoices as EHF or email, reminders, supplier invoices and bank reconciliation — with the voucher posted when the payment arrives.
- Who owes you moneyThe counterparty overview gathers what each customer, supplier and employee owes you — and what you owe them. Open the card, see the open items with due dates, and send a reminder or propose an offset from there.
- Filing the VAT returnSubmit the term's VAT return straight from Tredco — built from your posted ledger, validated with the Norwegian Tax Administration, and sent to Altinn once you confirm.
- Company inboxForward invoices, receipts and documents to one fixed company address. The assistant files them and you see the result in the app.
- Approving a bookingEvery voucher arrives as a proposal you say yes or no to. Here's how to read the booking suggestion, see what is posted and why, and approve it — or flag that something's off.
- How the business is doingYour balance sits right on the home screen. Tap it and it opens into a graph showing your liquidity ahead and your result month by month.
- The payment queuePay supplier invoices together — add the bills to the payment queue, start the payment and authorize with BankID. The voucher is already posted.
- ReportsEvery accounting report in Tredco in one place — income statement, balance sheet, general ledger, VAT and more. Choose the period, then follow any figure down to the voucher it came from.
- Credit notesCredit an invoice you've sent when something went wrong — all of it or part of it. How to issue the credit note, send it to the customer, and read the invoice afterwards.
- Connect DNB to TredcoDo you have several business netbanks in DNB? How to pick the right company, user ID and account access before you connect DNB to Tredco.
The team
- The team, roles and accessAdd your crew, give each role what the job needs, and control who can see and do what — the owner confirms every change.
- Calendar and planningSee who works on which project when, who is free, and place jobs on people and days — with the team's capacity in person-days right in front of you.
